About the author

Hello! My name is Julia. I’m a 21-year old college student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I’m majoring in English on the creative writing tract, and I’m minoring in French and Classical Studies. Also I’m a member of Kappa Alpha Theta!

Apostrophe S is not my first blog. I began exclusively book blogging when I was in middle school, and while that blog is no longer active, my love for blogging is! Without the constraints of the book blog niche, I hope to expand into writing about all my life passions. Here’s a taste:

I’m an avid runner and an amateur yogi. In general, fitness is a huge component of my life, and I love to give advice to other people working on their fitness journeys. I’m also a complete nerd about nutrition. I’m constantly reading books and listening to lectures to grow my understanding about how food becomes the energy that fuels our bodies. Currently, I’m working towards following a completely plant-based diet.

Health and wellness are incredibly important to me, and I’m on a journey to find the point where mind, body, and soul intersect. I’m not a spiritual guide by any means, but I hope to explore it more through Apostrophe ‘S’. I love talking about chakras and meditation and crystals, and I’m enthusiastically opening myself up to a whole new world of spirituality.

I love to read and write. (Thus the English major.) I boast a personal library of over 400 books, I’ve written for both newspapers and magazines, and I would love to become a novelist one day. Part of my desire to start blogging again was rooted in wanting to log more time writing.

You can learn more about me by stalking my socials or reading my posts. Stay well!

<3, Julia
